2nd 0,60 Touch Of Magic (AUS) (Jacobs -4 kg/Lafferty A 59kg draw 2) This well regarded filly showed good pace in her return from a five month layoff but needed it and faded late. 60.15 seconds

3rd 1,20 Master Of Illusion (Veale/Drier S 57kg draw 3) This R900,000 Master Of MY Fate colt is out of Captain Al Listed winner Victorian Secret, who is a full sister to the dual Grade 1 winner Snowdance. Classy looking sort with scope and showed some pace with a fair action but was green. 60.26 seconds

4th 1,70 Angelico (Wright/Hill A 57kg draw 4) This Visionaire colt is a rangy type with a fair action and he will likely improve over further. 60.35 seconds

3rd 0,65 Apple Magic (Ferraris/Tarry A 58kg draw 5) Dwelt, bumped. Has scope and strode out quite well but will likely need further. 60.99 seconds

4th 0,80 Quant Master (Wright/Hill S 57kg draw 1) Showed some pace using a high stride rate, but was green. Not asked a lot and can improve. 61.01 seconds

5th 0,85 Miss Charlotte (Moodley/Puller A 56kg draw 6) Slow away, squeezed but stayed on well. Has some substance and a nice stride, so should pay her way. 61.02 seconds

6th 1,10 Sea Scape (Veale/Drier S 57kg draw 3) This Master Of My Fate colt is a half-brother to the like of Balkan, Chantyman and Making Waves. Jumped to the left and was then green and over-racing. Looks to have some natural speed and a fair stride so can improve if settling better. 61.08 seconds

2nd 1,50 Fools Gold (Wright/Hill S 57kg draw 1) Fair pace, strode out well but couldn’t match older horse when asked for an effort at the 200m mark. 59.56 seconds

3rd 1,60 World Cruise (Ferraris/Robinson MR41 A 60kg draw 8) Held together until 200m mark and then quickened well. As a big, immature sort would likely have benefited from a rest and cold improve on his poor maiden form. 59.58 seconds

4th 2,00 Windcheater (Jacobson/Crawford S t 60kg draw 4) Showed some pace and made some late progress when encouraged. 59.63 seconds

1st Moon In June (Marcus/Hill MR65 A 58kg draw 2) This hard knocking maiden was returning from a two month layoff. She was prominent throughout and strode out well. 60.58 seconds

2nd 1,80 Welakapela (Godden/Singh a 56kg draw 6) This unraced Where’s That Tiger filly showed fair pace and stayed on with a fair action. 60.87 seconds

3rd 2,05 Wishful Girl Linn (Jacobs -4 kg/Puller s 56kg draw 9) This unraced Linngari filly showed fair pace with a round action to overcome a wide draw. Stayed on without being asked any questions. Has some substance and scope. 60.9 seconds

4th 2,30 Donnazetti (Randolph/Whitehead S 58kg draw 3) This unraced Warm White Night filly is tall and has scope. She was green around the turn and raced with a high head carriage. She relaxed towards the end and stayed on well without ever letting herself down. 60.95

5th 2,40 Deer Park (Brown/Govender S 57kg draw 8) This Bold Silvano colt was relaxed from the off and dropped out. He then showed a nice big action when asked to keep in touch and stayed on well. 60.97 seconds

6th 6,10 Simply Russian (Moodley/Puller s 56kg draw 4) This two-year-old Captain Of All filly has scope. She was green but stretched out well and displayed a nice action. Can improve. 61.49 seconds

7th 7,90 Romantic Duchess (Jacobson/Govender A 56kg draw 1) This two-year-old Duke Of Marmalade filly is well bred being out of the useful sprinter Romantic Moon and a half-sister to the five-time winning Lunar Rush. She showed good early pace and a nice rhythmical action but tired in the straight so likely needed it. 61.74 seconds

8th 11,10 Persona Grata (Ramzan -4 kg/Dittmer s 59kg draw 5) This Crusade gelding was green and outpaced but stayed on well in the straight. 62.25 seconds

9th 13,60 Saggiatore (Ngwane/L Crawford 59kg draw 10) Showed some early pace but raced wide and tired in the straight. 62.62 seconds

10th 15,40 Roy’s Silver (Samuel/Naidoo A 59kg draw 7) This Al Miqdaam colt has scope and a fair action but was caught wide and faded in the straight. 62.91 seconds

1st Cedrus Libani (De Melo/Anthony MR72 A 60kg draw 9) Returning from a six month layoff he showed good pace and stretched out well. However, not the best action as was dishing on the off fore. 59.12 seconds

2nd 0,05 Checkpoint Charlie (Veale/Hill MR81 AB 59kg draw 5) Showed fair pace and strode out well. Stayed on under driving. 59.13 seconds

3rd 3,45 La Valette (Khan/Howells MR77 A 58kg draw 4) Pecked badly at the off. Thereafter strode out well and stayed on under encouragement in the straight. Str59.64 seconds

4th 3,70 We Light The Fire (Brown/Govender A 57kg draw 8) This two-year-old Gimmethegreenlight colt has plenty of scope. He showed good pace and despite racing wide stayed on well with a nice action in the straight. 59.68 seconds

5th 13,00 Roy’s Nightingale (Jacobs -4 kg/Naidoo A 58kg draw 1) This Al Miqdaam filly showed some early toe but was green and then outpaced in the straight despite being hard ridden. 61.22 seconds

6th 13,10 Nisidominus (Arries/Kotzen s 59kg draw 6) This Oratorio gelding was outpaced but has a rangy action and stayed on well, so looks to need further. 61.25 seconds

7th 13,70 Franks Petal (Jacobson/Govender S 56kg draw 2) This two-year-old Jackson filly was green and had to be encouraged but has a fair action and can improve. 61.36 seconds

8th 17,45 Sweet Empress (Randolph/Whitehead S 58kg draw 3) This Curved Ball filly was slow away and then green and outpaced. Stayed on under a galloping action and can improve. 61.94 seconds

1st  African Warrior  (De Melo/Kannemeyer A 57kg draw 5) This unraced two-year-old Vercingetorix gelding was dwarfed by his older rivals but has plenty of substance and has a lovely, uncomplicated action. He was handy throughout and stayed on well to complete a pleasing trial. 60.01 seconds

2nd 0,05 Liquid Irish (Randolph/Whitehead  S 58 kg draw 3) This unraced filly is by the useful bread and butter sire Traffic Guard. She is imposing and after racing handy stayed on well without being asked a lot. She should pay her way over further trips. 60.02 seconds

3rd 0,55 Jenny Denny (Veale/Rivalland A 58kg draw 1) This Var filly was returning from a layoff of over a year after running fourth as joint favourite in a Maiden Juvenile Plate over 800m. She is on the slight side but after being restless in the pens jumped quickly and showed plenty of pace to lead until the 150m mark. She stayed on well and should win a sprint or two. 60.1 seconds

4th 1,85 Lord Caro (Ngwane/Whitehead  A 59kg draw 4) This unraced Mogok gelding is a chip off his sire, being on the small side but nicely put together and athletic. He came from near the back to run on well with a nice action and was not hard pressed. 60.29 seconds

5th 2,10 Dark Fate (Arries/Anthony A 59kg draw 2) This unraced Master Of My Fate colt is tall and from a handy position stayed on with a nice action without being hard pressed. 60.32 seconds

6th 2,60 Al Jackman (Godden/Whitehead MR54 A 59kg draw 10) This battling maiden was restless in the pens but jumped well and showed good early pace without being hard pressed. Battled to stay with them in the straight but did stride out well and made some late progress. 60.41 seconds

7th 2,90 Atacama Raid (Jacobson/Whitehead A 59kg draw 8) This unraced Traffic Guard colt was outpaced before staying on well so as his breeding suggests will need further. 60.48 seconds

8th 3,80 Mai Dancer (Khan/Howells A 59kg draw 7) This unraced four-year-old Admire Main filly is small but compact and stayed on quite well from near the back with a fair action. 60.62 seconds

9th 3,90 O Sole Mio (Wright/Nel S t 58kg draw 6) He has earned cheques in two starts over 1200m and 1400m and was returning from a four month layoff. He strode out well but was a touch outpaced in the straight and likely needed it. 60.65 seconds.

10th 11,90 Roy’s Hippy (Jacobs -4 kg/Naidoo A 58kg draw 11) This unraced Al Miqdaam filly was awkwardly away and then outpaced and green. The rider gave her a number of smacks in the straight so it was not the best introduction. 61.96 seconds

11th 15,00 Roy’s Enemy (Samuel/Naidoo A 58kg draw 9) This unraced Al Miqdaam filly showed good early pace but was caught wide and tired badly in the straight. 62.49 seconds

1st Ruby Spirit (Khan/Howells A 59kg draw 4) This gelding has a nice action and like all Silvano’s has plenty of scope for improvement. Was handy before staying on well, although he had to be ridden and given a couple of backhanders to get the better of the runner up. 59.2 seconds

2nd 0,05 Leslie Shadowliner (Wright/Hill MR77 A 60kg draw 3) Strode out well in his first outing for nearly six months. 59.25 seconds

3rd 0,95 Cascada (Brown/Campbell MR65 A 59kg draw 6) Strode out well in first outing for seven months but had to be pushed to match the runner up in the straight. 59.3 seconds

4th 3,15 Secret Path (Jacobson/B Crawford MR61 S           59kg draw 2) Has hard-knocking maiden form in Cape Town from 1200-1400m and strode out fairly well in a handy position without being asked to do a lot. 59.6 seconds

5th 3,65 Master Jay (Sakayi -2.5 kg/Kotzen s 57kg draw 10) Athletic sort, showed zip and stayed on with quite a nice action, despite being green. 59.7 seconds

6th 4,65 Harmattan (Kennedy/G H Van Zyl A 59kg draw 7) This maiden was relaxed throughout and was just held together so it was a nice trial and in the typical fashion of an Ideal Worlds gelding he looks capable of improving on his current form. 59.9 seconds

7th 6,35 Mount Everest (Ferraris/Tarry A 59kg draw 11) This Skit Skizzle colt was dropped in from a wide draw and  was then outpaced before staying on. 60.1 seconds

2nd 0,05 Rise Above It All (Ngwane/G van Zyl (Jnr) A 59kg draw 3) Handy throughout, has scope and a nice big rangy action so will appreciate further. 61.42 seconds

3rd 0,55 River Jordan (Ferraris/Tarry A 59kg draw 6) Did it easily in the early stages with a relaxed action and quickened well when asked the question. 61.51 seconds

4th 0,60 Touch Of Light (Kalychurun/Dittmer s 59kg draw 1) Not an imposing gelding but displayed a fair action and was not hard pressed in the slow run trial. 61.52 seconds

5th 0,90 Crossfire (Gates -4 kg/Goosen A 59kg draw 5) Tall and has scope but after leading early had to be pushed along in the straight to keep up with others who were doing it easier. 61.57 seconds

6th 1,40 Someone Exciting (Arries/Wright MR81 S 59kg draw 4) Won second time out over 1160m and was returning from a layoff of a year here, did it easily throughout with a fair action. 61.66 seconds
