(7) DUTCHESS D’ORANGE has two cracking races in recent starts, the stable is in top form and this will be the firm first selection. (2) OH MANDY wasn’t far in the last start and is capable of getting closer. (1) GENTEEL is capable of much better and can get involved, don’t ignore. (1) HOLOCENE has been holding form, he ran well from a wide draw in his last start on turf. Although having to shoulder a big weight and a wide draw again there looks to be enough speed in this race which could suit him down to the ground and Richard Fourie may just time his run to perfection. (10) FEARLESS BADGER is another who is never far back and is very capable of winning. (4) KOHANA won impressively on debut and has scope to go well. (Devonne Govender 1-8-10-4)

(2) TRAVEL MASTER won a gutsy race in the last start and has solid poly form, he will be a huge contender here despite returning after a short break. (3) ORIGINAL COPY has plenty scope to go well and the fact that the stable rider has elected to ride this individual speaks volumes. (1) MERCANTOUR has been unlucky on the 21/03/2025 when racing on the turf. He wasn’t far in his last start on poly and expected to run a cracker over this 1200m trip. (2) FIRST ORIGIN is holding solid form and will have a massive winning chance. (4) USA’S HOPE is another who is in top form and there won’t be much to choose between the second and third selection.
