1st Peacock Alley (De Melo/Dixon MR83 A 59kg draw 5) Led throughout, striding out well and doing it easily. 60.09 seconds

2nd 0,10 Sovereign Spirit (Hewitson/Wright S 59kg draw 1) Tall gelding with a nice action and wasn’t hard-pressed. Well bred being by Dynasty out of Grade 1 Woolavington 2000 winner Viva Maria (Jet Master). 60.1 seconds

3rd 0,30 Arthur Shelby (Moodley/Van Wyk A 59kg draw 7) Wide, fair pace, and stretched out when asked the question in the closing stages. 60.13 seconds

4th 1,00 Rainbow Unicorn (Samuel/Naidoo A 56kg draw 2) Green but stretched out well when asked the question in the closing stages. 60.24 seconds

5th 2,50 Candy Apple (Khan/Howells A 57kg draw 6) Has scope and a fair action and was not asked a lot. 60.46 seconds

6th 5,50 Ballantine Hall (Veale/Gordon A 57kg draw 4) Tall and still has to furnish. Was slowly away and green throughout. 60.93 seconds

7th 6,20 My Blue Safari (Ngwane/Gordon A 57kg draw 3) Still immature and has scope. Slowly away and never in touch but can improve. 61.03 seconds

8th 9,45 Black Orchid (Ramzan -4 kg/Dixon s 58kg draw 8) Green, raced wide, the penny still has to drop. 61.53 second
