1st Salsero (Fourie/Bosch AP 59kg draw 1) Showed pace and strode out well throughout. 61.04 seconds.
2nd 0,10 Cavalieri (Randolph/M J Odendaal s 57kg draw 3) Showed some pace before being dropped out. Displayed a good turn of foot in the straight and a good action. Made up the ground without much effort. 61.07 seconds
3rd 0,20 Jamie’s Joy (Ferraris/Bosch A 58kg draw 5) Fair pace and stayed on without being asked a lot. Has a fair action and scope for improvement. 61.09 seconds
4th 0,50 Fire Faerie (Gates -2.5 kg/N Kotzen s t 56kg draw 2) Slow away but showed signs of speed when making up the ground under a tight hold. Displayed a nice action and this was a fair trial. 61.14 seconds
5th 2,60 Pure Quality (Yeni/N Kotzen s 57kg draw 4) Sluggush start, up with the pace out wide. Left a bit flat footed in the straight but has quite a big action and can improve. 61.42 seconds
