Barrier trial Greyville poly 1000m 05/10/2018

st Moon In June (Samuel/Hill A 58kg draw 7) This unraced filly is a typically scopey daughter of Twice Over and had done nicely in a previous barrier trial on August 26. She jumped to the right and was bumped leaving her in last place. She was green in the straight and hanging as she wanted to run in behind horses. However, when she finally had enough daylight in front of her she quickened nicely. She displayed a nice action and will appreciate further. 60.54 seconds

nd 0,10 Elusive Run (Jacobs -4 kg/Nel MR64 S 59kg draw 3) Showed some pace and strode out well in her first outing since finishing last in a 1900m handicap at Kenilworth in June. 60.56 seconds

rd 0,20 Noble Joshua (Sakayi -2.5 kg/Van Zyl (Jnr) s 59kg draw 5) This Noble Tune gelding was unplaced in a Juvenile Plate and a Maiden Plate over 1200m and 1600m in June and July respectively. He jumped awkwardly and was green but he has some substance and displays a fair action so should improve as he matures. 60.58 seconds

th 0,25 Paths Of Victory (Kennedy/Van Zyl (Jnr) MR84 sB 59kg draw 1) This Noble Tune gelding won at the fourth attempt over 1900m but looks to have been given quite a harsh merit rating. He was up with the pace throughout but his action shows him to be one who would prefer a lot further. 60.59 seconds

th 0,30 Little Miss Me (GB) (Bantam -2.5 kg/B Crawford MR68 S 59kg draw 8) She strode out quite well in her first outing in KZN. 60.6 seconds

th 0,35 Hello Summer (Moodley/Nel MR66 S 59kg draw 4) This was the Querari filly’s first outing since winning her maiden over 1800m at Durbanville in August. She strode out well and stayed on well over a trip too sharp. 60.6 seconds

th 2,35 L’ Histoire (Wright/Nel MR63 S 60kg draw 6) This well put together Querari gelding was having his first outing since disappointing at Kenilworth in March. He showed some pace and a nice action while just being held together and is one to look out for in a KZN maiden over 1400m or more. 60.98 seconds

th 4,35 Isikheto (Dillon/B Crawford S 59kg draw 2) This unraced Visionaire gelding displayed a fair action but was green throughout and the penny still has to drop. 61.35 seconds
