RACE 1

RED BIRCH has run well in all three of her starts so far. She is capable of scoring with cheekpieces for the first time. RIVER VIEW was not disgraced on debut and gets Richard Fourie aboard so must be respected. Stable companion SEATTLE GLOW should improve on her debut and can earn some money. SILVER VISION makes her debut and could be a threat. TP THUNDERCHILD showed improvement last time out and is not out of it. YOU’RE MY ANGEL has some fair form and is another to consider.

RACE 2

TURBULENT is probably better on the grass but has held his form well enough on the Polytrack and can have a winning turn. TASTE THE RAINBOW has shown improvement of late and should fight out the finish. KALEESH CYBORG needed his local debut and could be a threat. GEORGE REX was not disgraced on local debut and can earn more money. FIVE STAR MAGIC and LADY OF FATE are capable of better and could be the surprise packages of the race if showing their best side.

RACE 3

MADE TO MEASURE seemed to hang at the worst possible time for her and that may have cost her victory. This longer distance suits her better and she deserves a winning turn. Stable companion MASTEROFTHEBAROQUE was heavily supported to win on local debut but disappointed. He could improve and be a threat. MONKEY’S WEDDING tends to lack a strong finish but is not out of it. GREEK HEIRESS was making late progress on local debut and could be more of a threat this time around. TAKEMETOTHEMOON steps up in distance and could improve. SECRET ERUPTION showed improvement last time out and is another to consider.

RACE 4

HELIOTROPE has not done much wrong of late. She carries some penalties for her recent wins but may well score again and complete a hat-trick. JUAN CARLOS gives weight away to all his rivals but can make the frame. MAKHACHEV is in very good form and clearly not out of it. GINGER DELIGHT likes the Polytrack and is a danger this distance. RICHARDTHEFEARLESS is not reliable but can be a menace when allowed to dictate matters. JOHNNY DRAMA and WILD FIG are consistent and capable of scoring.

RACE 5

An open looking race and it could pay to go very wide in this leg of the Pick 6. EXCEEDINGLY GLAM showed improvement when a well-backed winner last time out and could have more wins in her tank. KINGS AGAIN is consistent and should be a threat once again. ROAMING SPIRIT and GASLIGHT DANCER both make their local debuts but would not be surprise winners. PRISCILLA MAISEY and MY DEAR FRIEND are both capable of winning over this course and distance. CLAIRWOOD ROSE and CLARA LUME face tougher this time but might surprise.

RACE 6

Trainer Alan Greeff has a very strong hand in this race. FAIRY KNIGHT will not have regular rider Richard Fourie aboard this time but is course and distance suited and is capable of scoring. MERCANTOUR has been a disappointment of late but Richard Fourie rides him and he would not be a surprise winner. GUY GIBSON was a lucky winner last time out and could benefit from that confident-boosting victory so must be respected. ANUSCHKA’S WORLD steps up in distance but has been very effective of late. SILVONIAN has also been very good recently and can follow up on an easy last win. FIREALLEY is not an easy ride but might earn some more money.

RACE 7

BLACKBERRY BREEZE showed he is capable of scoring with a solid last win. He was brave that day and picked up a 3-point penalty. He could double up. SMIDDYBURN proved just in need of his last run and could be a lively danger. VILA VICOSA showed improvement in his latest start but could be best on the grass. ARABIAN RED is not reliable but is capable of scoring over this particular course and distance. POLICY OF TRUTH and AMANZIMTEXAS seem better than their latest performances⁸ and could surprise. MATT’S WARRIOR is coming off a maiden win and might be better than rated.

RACE 8

A tricky last race. WAIT FOR ME was impressive on local debut and could be better than rated. ENDEARED is much improved and has cracked a good draw. ALEX MILLER is consistent without winning but must be respected. ROYAL MERMAID is well drawn and can be competitive once again. LANA VIEW is in the form of her life and clearly not out of it. NORTHERN KITTEN needed her last run and could shine. FLEUR DE VILLE and ICE CAP might be worth considering as possible winners.
