Laurie Jaffee Tributes

A truly great icon has been lost, boots that can never be filled, but we have been privileged to have known and shared a moment with this true gentleman and sportsman
at some time or other.
Mr Jaffee I will always remember you for your wisdom and commitment to our industry, a man that was a true asset to
racing as well as life.
Rest in peace sir, from Michael Azzie.
My deepest condolences to Mrs. Jaffee and family.

As a Racing Editor my dealings with Laurie over many years were always pleasant as he was never too busy to be interviewed on any racing matter and was also a great friend often providing solutions to many tricky problems. He was an honorable and extremely knowledgeable man and must go down as one of the great men of racing in this country.
My condolences to Jean and his family.
