Big City Life bounced back to his scintillating best when winning the Grade 1 Rising Sun Gold Challenge over 1600m at Clairwood yesterday under a brilliant ride from Piere Strydom . The Glen Kotzen yard pronounced that he was a “lengths better” horse than he was last year as a three-year-old when winning three Grade 1 races including the Vodacom Durban July.
Big City Life got up in a driving finish to deny long-time poacemaker Blue Tiger with favourite Pocket Power running on for third.
