Big guns entered for Daily News 2000

Barring the rested Pierre Jourdan, the cream of South Africa’s three-year-old crop are chasing a spot in the final field of the
R1 million Grade 1 Daily News 2000 to be run at Greyville racecourse on June 5.
Another noticeable absentee is Joey Ramsden’s Bravura. Following an early disruption to Bravura’s preparations, Ramsden has not committed to any immediate plans for the Cape Derby winner although expectations are high that Bravura will be supplemeted at the next stage of entries which closes on Friday.
