Kwa Zulu-Natal Racecourses
The Gold Circle Racing and Gaming Group conducts Racemeetings at the Clairwood, Greyville, and Scottsville Racecourses. The Racecourses' spacious parking grounds are available to motorists without charge. The Company provides free motor transport to the Racecourses for all horses stabled at the Summerveld and Ashburton Training Centres and also subsidises the transport of KwaZulu-Natal country based trainers. Free short term stabling prior to a racemeeting is available at Clairwood and Scottsville Racecourses for visiting horses. Trainers are requested to contact the Venues well in advance to avail themselves of this facility. Moveable false rails are used at all three Venues which enables the field to fan out in the home run and thus obtain a clear run to the winning post.
