It was a difficult choice to make with four trainers each saddling four winners with Duncan and Des Egdes matching it with the top stables of Charles Laird and Sean Tarry.

They all deserved the award for their efforts but Duncan also managed 11 places and those that followed his runners with a R1 win bet would have made a profit of R35.
