There were many good performances from trainers during the month and the Mike de Kock stable was in top form once again with nine winners during the period.

But Gavin’s much smaller stable gave punters a good run for their money winning six of the 23 races it contested with a win or place percentage of 65.22%. The statistics show that a R1 win bet on each of his runners during the month would have returned a R6.90 profit at the end of the month.
