DENNIS BOSCH

As expected the country’s two top stables took the honours this month with Charles Laird saddling seven and Mike de Kock five but Alyson Wright and Mike Miller managed four each. A number of stables sent out two or three and one of those was that of Dennis Bosch.

Dennis was a top rider to follow in his days in the saddle and with a limited string of runners he has proven himself a top trainer as well. This month, from just eight runners he managed to lead in three winners and had a second as well to give him a win/place success rate of 50%.

That was an excellent performance and worthy of the monthly award.
