YOGAS GOVENDER

As a private trainer with restricted resources it is difficult to compete against the larger yards in the country but Yogas has shown he is up there with the best of them.

During the month he matched the stables of Charles Laird and Sean Tarry with each saddling six winners but Yogas did it with just 15 runners with another three finishing in the placings. This gave him a winning strike rate of 40% which is very high and those who had a R1 win bet on each of his horses would have made a profit of R10.50.

An excellent effort.
