This award is generally made for outstanding performances and Glen Hatt’s ride to get Lady Magpie through to win the King’s Cup was a ride of that stature.  But the consistency of top-class performance is what counts and Anthony’s statistics speak for themselves.

In his 57 rides during the month he won 13 races and recorded another 21 places including 10 races where his mounts were beaten into second place. While he has not yet joined the De Kock team on their overseas campaigns, he has kept the home fires burning brightly and his performance this month is well worth the monthly award.
