It was a difficult call to make this month as Anton Marcus was again in top form with 12 winners. With the demand for his services it was not unexpected but the performances of Robbie Fradd and Sean Cormack, who only recently returned to the country, were very good and it was hard to choose between the two for the award.

Fradd booted home eight winners and Cormack seven and their winning percentages were virtually equal but people who backed Sean’s runners to win would have made a slight profit and that swung the balance in his favour.
