The leading riders like Anton Marcus, Anthony Delpech and Raymond Danielson all had success during the month with Marcus booting home no less than 14 winners.

Brandon had far fewer chances but made the most of them with six wins and 11 places and two fantastic rides on New Year’s Day at Greyville where he got Queen’s Command up to win the Grade 3 Flamboyant Stakes and completed the double in the next race by bringing Daultless Delance from the back of the field for a narrow victory.

An excellent performance and worthy of the monthly award.
